Research sectors

Our team continues to develop our knowledge base and expertise in three project typologies, which represent the foundation of the savoir faire acquired by the agency since its creation.

Transport and movement

The architecture associated with transit projects is a domain in which the agency has a distinct point of view, this thanks to over twenty years of experience and some fifteen major project references. This project typology involves the design and completion of station buildings for rail projects, intermodal transit hubs, metro stations, bus stations, etc... in addition to the projects which are found in close proximity: mixed-use complexes, housing, shopping centers, offices, public facilities, hotels, etc.

Innovation and technology

The confrontation between the digital world and architecture provides a rich research context for the agency and its designers, notably because it encourages experimentation. Within this field one finds building typologies that are decidedly modern: data centers, incubators, technology centers, etc... and as the definition and understanding of these complexes continues to evolve, the agency attempts to push the envelope between the real (the building, the object) and the virtual (our perception or interpretation).

Heritage and culture

The agency continues to investigate what it means to transform and renovate historical sites, or sites inscribed within a place of meaning. Such a theme naturally involves the design and development of cultural projects (museums, archives, libraries, memorials, etc.) but also includes reflections on abandoned territories, wastelands, industrial zones, etc. Such ideations create an opportunity to explore socioeconomic implications. As a result, a stronger cultual identity for these sites might come to life.
